Someone mentioned "automotive" tape that you can get at parts stores, I assume is some kind of very strong double sided tape. This was in the cosmetic mod section on ways to mount badges/emblems...
I plan to order some, but I figured I would as one of the shops that sell them like Emblem Nation I think was the name of one of them that everyone thought made really good ones.
