The new DI 1.6T currently used in Europe would definitely fill the "could use" more power need. Even the DI 1.4T scheduled to go into the 2016 Cruze next February could do, but the 1.6 has already been announced for the Sonic.

Labor smith I'm over there on the sonic forums and was there at the very beginning lol. I was thinking about getting a crystal red sonic turbo. Held out in hopes the RS would come with a better engine option.

I'm still hoping they do. I think GM is hurting themselves in the youth market. Big time. I know they like investing in middle aged people.

But the sonic is a great platform to stick that 1.6 in.
