There's hardly any difference between the 2015 Focus and the 2012.

350 HP will NOT help this car. No way no how. Will it be fun? Maybe. But who the hell is going to buy it? People wanting cheap cars buy the Focus because they're cheap. If you can afford the performance, Focus isn't going to be it.

But what do you expect for a 20K car?

Just saw the price tag...36K? Ride in a Focus and I can guarantee you that you'll be putting your 36K into something else.

Trust me, snide little comments towards me cannot keep the Focus from being a underwhelming car no matter how many little badges, or wings and things you bolt on it, IMO. It just won't.

And there's nothing you can do or say to change that. Just like I'll never change your minds that the Focus is the best-made car in the universe. Believe whatever you like.

Not for eveything you said, just everything you said about the RS lol. You do realize the RS is a pretty well known performance car across the pond right? It's a pretty big deal that it is finally coming state side. Even if it doesn't sell in huge numbers here, Ford is going after a different market then people who buy mustangs and camaros. Despite what you might think, there are people that prefer hot hatches to V-8 Coupes. Yes it is a niche market but the market is there.

your comment on price works against you as well, who the hell would spend 75K on a Camaro. Yeah its fast but its still a camaro,. See what I did there? 63K for a GT350R who would spend that much on a Mustang, works both ways. There is a market for those cars though. Props to Ford for taking a gamble on the super hot hatch market. Its price is right in line with its competition the STi and Golf R

Owning a 12 Focus, yes is just a commuter nothing special about it. and the DCT is a POS for sure, the materials aren't high quality and I wouldn't tell anyone they are. But like you said its fine for a DD grocery getter
