I went to see daddy again today. He was up in his wheelchair having just eaten. He was more alert & was trying to sing or talk intermittently but you couldn't tell what he was trying to sing or say. The nurse said she had taken him off his Valium which is why he was more alert but he also seemed to be in a little more discomfort. We waited until they put him back in bed & he seemed to get easy & be resting comfortably after a little while. My older sister went with me. Afterword we went & put some new flowers on Mama's grave & on those of our grandparents & a few other family members.
Mike grilled some steaks & brats again for supper. Another weekend has come & gone. Next week I will work some days & be off others. It is spring break & I will do some home visits but doubt I can fill 5 days with them so I will take some days off.
