I think you're right. Back when I was flying remote controlled aircraft, we (myself and other pilots) would have never even considered the thought of flying over, or near, private property. We flew at the airfield and no where else. We even paid costly dues to keep and maintain the field. Why? Well, the planes were noisy and occasionally they would crash. We didn't want to hurt anyone or damage anyone's property, so we were polite and careful with them.

It seems like the guys who fly drones look at things differently. Since it isn't against the law, they automatically assume that it's cool to fly their drones anywhere and any time they wish. They need to realize that no one knows their intentions, so people will always assume the worst - just like the guy in the video. It's going to lead to more confrontations and then, more laws being passed.
