The problem NOW is that they made them easy to fly and ready to go out of the box. Before those, you had to drop some serious money, know how to do it, have the skill to fly it... and with all those things usually filtered out the morons.

That sucks. It's been years since I was into it. It led to me getting my pilot's license and flying real airplanes. Once that got too expensive, I gave up all flying and sold all of my RC equipment. I'm sad to hear this news. Used to be, you spent months building a plane, then needed real skill to fly it. All of your hard work could vanish with one wrong move of the stick.
