You are right. Don't own the air.. But, the difference is, RC planes are pretty much line of sight. Most of them are also noisy and need a decent runway to take off. (Unless it's a chopper).. If you decide to use one for mischief, you probably aren't going to be too hard to find.
Drones are a whole different breed. Someone could program the flight path, put the control on an electronic delay, and be in a different state when it takes off..... I know, I'm being paranoid...
It still spooks me.
