Relatively low displacement, flat plane crank, high-revving V8 instead of huge displacement or a blower and carbon fiber wheels are outside of the typical ponycar playbook, even the American sports car playbook in general. With the GT, a twin turbo V6 instead of a V8 and an almost entirely carbon fiber body. These are way outside the formula we're used to seeing from American car companies.
