I think the changes make the game finally make sense.
Leveling up makes sense again, all upgrade materials now crossover for all characters, you earn faction and crucible/vanguard marks at the same time. class items actually mean something now.
yea the year one weapons wont be as useful, but they claim they will still have their place here and there.
