He founded and runs a 501(c)3 non profit called THE JARED FOUNDATION (tax exemption can be a very lucrative thing). It works with CHILDREN. This is very disturbing.... HOWEVER.... It has been well known, for years, that while he was in college he operated a pornography service out of his dorm room. Former students from his college have been stating this fact for many years, and Subway never stopped to evaluate whether or not his past pornography business might have an effect on how he represents their company?

Normally, I would say that a business is not to blame in a situation like this - but unfortunately, they had to be aware of his past, since everyone else in the free world knew.

Let's not forget also that he did not lose weight by eating food off the menu at Subway. Sure, he ate there (they had a Subway store downstairs of the dorm room he was in where he was running the porn business back during college), but he has stated many times in interviews that he only ate salads with no extra fixings (no dressing, etc.) and sandwiches that contained nothing (again, no fixings). Things not on the menu... So, eating at Subway did not technically lose his weight.

Failure to check his background and failure to be truthful about how he lost weight. Subway failed. JMHO
