This is a little different, but the reason I am no longer with "the good hands people" is due to utter silliness... in my opinion.
A few years ago, I was making monthly payments for car insurance. One month, I did not receive a bill in the mail... but I made my "regular" payment anyhow. Same with the following month, and the month after that... no bill in the mail, but I paid anyhow.
Finally, I called them and asked how come I no longer received bills in the mail. They couldn't answer that, but they DID mention that, oh, by the way, we cancelled your policy a couple of months ago. Why? Because my monthly payment had risen by $2... yes, TWO DOLLARS, and my recent payments had NOT included the extra $2. So, I had been driving around, utterly uninsured, for a couple of months.
To hell with them... and you're welcome for the info about "the good hands people."
