dont get me wrong i love the camaro and its history but just look at what happened to the 4th gen CAMARO BETTER STEP UP
I don't understand. The mustang is super big, the Challenger is considerably larger. Check the dimensions of the concept camaro vs the current mustang. Camaro Mustang Challenger The Camaro is going to be close to your 'ideal size' mustang, and yet it will fail? The hemi was out of production for decades, durring that time it was all about the Chevy small block. The Viper doesn't beat the Z06 by too much even with a 100 hp advantage, a closer battle would be ZR1 vs Viper as they are closer in power to weight as well as price. And the viper doesn't have a hemi. As far as the Camaro not being fast, it has almost always been faster than the Mustang. And in terms of bang for your buck, it has always been one of the best deals out there.

As far as the size of the Camaro goes, it can be hard to judge when it isn't beside anything. Here is an example I have thought of before.

The rolls royce phantom and the chrysler 300c have nearly the same proportions and look to be about the same size when there is nothing to compare them against. The phantom is a full 2.5 feet longer than the 300c and is 20" taller.
