I was reading on some recent lap tests where it beat the Z/28 by 1 second. I was sort of surprised it wasn't more honestly for all the hype. They've had the Z/28 2 years to benchmark and I was really expecting the GT350R to blow the Z/28 out of the water like it was going backwards. The new Z06 is 5 seconds faster then the Z/28 on the GM test track and I was expecting that kind of beat down from the GT350R. The eye opener will come when the hopped up 6th Gen drops and Ford better have another trick up their sleeve or they'll be chasing the Camaro like they were for the entire 5th Gen run.
And $30K wheels are just idiotic if true. What kind of average Joe,who these cars are the target market for, can swing $30K wheels?
