I have no pity for cops who make these type of grave mistakes. This is not a small oops type of mistake.
I was once pulled over in some small town in Florida, by 5+ cop cars, guns pulled out, they thought I was the hooker murderer they were after.
Long story short, I was let go after a few hours, after they realized they mistook my Porsche 944 Turbo for a Mazda RX7, evidently, as I pulled out of a restaurant drive-thru.
A few hours later, I was somewhat let go(not officially) free, after one cop came up to me, and whispered to my ear, "just leave, just leave" while the rest of them were huddling and were debating something....He was the one who revealed to me the Mazda mixup btw. I asked this question a few seconds before I raaaaaaaaaaan per his instruction.
You_cannot_make_this_stuff_up.
I tip my hat off to that honest cop.
Major
FAIL to the rest of the team.
And a Major FAIL to the cop pulling over the wrong Dodge Challenger and potentially ruining someone's life, but thanks to Sarge on here, all ends well.
