I used to take up two spaces in the far back of parking spots all the time with my 4th gen because no matter how far away I parked, I'd always come out to someone parked right next to me. I don't dare do that with my car now for fear of some prick messing with it. Granted, I wouldn't take up 4 spots in the middle of a lot, but I wouldn't ever think to touch someone's car (much less the pic in the OP) who did so either.. at any age.
I'll never understand why people think they're justified for vandalizing another person's property because they don't park correctly. It's a parking spot ffs. Learn how to get out of your car without flinging your door open into the car next to you and then I won't need to take up more than one spot.
