While the initial numbers of the Voodoo look pretty good, it's the area under the curve that tell the whole story and it looks like the LS7 is a much more stout engine with the power. A lot less spiky and more predictable too..

Power in the
usable RPM range is actually what matters in racing. If the Voodoo powered car spends 99% of track time above 5,500rpm and the LS7 powered car spends 99% of track time above 4,500rpm, the area under the curve may be in favor of the Voodoo.
