I like the idea of options, choices, etc. when buying a car...but to me this GT350 R is nice, but at the same time sort of a rip-off....

A/C and rear seats are standard equipment, for example....add R pkg, they go away...add tech, you get A/C back...trying to get my mind around paying for something as standard, pay more to have it removed, pay more again to have it put back...lol...No biggie...

First impression to me for most bang for the buck would be the base plus track pack...
...the R seems like it's mostly just for carbon fiber wheels...(probably a pain in the butt..).....

I think for now an SS for a lot less money will seem like a good deal....An optioned up/tracked up 1LE at some point would be similar in performance....I still don't think they've gotten to Z/28 territory yet with the GT350 R....but maybe, we'll see...
