I have been fortunate enough to be able to drive many exotic cars and while the Gallardo is very attractive to look at it is one of my least favorite. To me they feel very heavy and disconnected/numb compared to other similar cars. Many of the control surfaces on the early Gallardos feel cheap and don't wear well. On the other hand, I like the Ferrari F430 a lot.

I also choose the 430 over the Gallardo. Granted I was only able to drive them on an auto-x course but the 430 just felt more focused (not to mention the sound this thing makes...). That being said I have always liked Lamborghinis over Ferraris looks wise.
