So there's no misunderstanding, they made that comparison, not me. Overall, I think they were impressed with it. Maybe its because they were looking at one, some for the first time in person.

Ironically, they spoke of the Hellcat's power negatively stating that its really hard to put all of it down on the ground without loosing control of the car. Quote: " The power is great but the rest of the car is under engineered to control it." One salesman commented on a customer who lost control of his brand new Hellcat when pulling out of the dealership after purchase. Shockingly, all said they would rather have the Z/28 over it because of that (once again, they were looking at a Z/28). They still spoke highly of the Hellcat but none said that that would purchase one if given the chance.
You just happen to take a stroll to a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge dealer ? Of course they were looking at a Z/28. When a customer pulls up to a dealership regardless of what car you pull in with they will flock. I'm sure your story is true somewhat however most salesmen haven't driven a Hellcat to even know. Similar to Z/28's, they just don't know. I know a lot of ppl whom wouldn't purchase a Z/28 if given a chance unfortunately. Not really a logical choice spending $75K for a Corvette engined Camaro with outdated interior. You hope you get the option for A/C. Smh.
