"Safer" and "safe" need to be established here. It is much "safer" doing hands free texting and talking over hands on. It is still not as "safe" as not doing it at all. It's risk reward like everything else in society. Cancer cells latch on to animal proteins in our body. Does that mean we should all be vegans. Blocking all cell phones In a car is just ridiculous, cops need to crack down on cell use by the driver even more than they already do, there will always be SOME risk but I agree it needs to be less of a risk than there is now
