I can think of bigger problems in the world, but let's stick to the topic.
Racial considerations would not be a factor and the guy would be alive IF the victim CHOSE to take care of his outstanding issues, or the victim CHOSE to NOT RUN away from the Po-Po. That was the point of my statement. Because he did neither, then this deplorable action took place.
I am not absolving the ex-cop of guilt. But at the same time you have to factor in the actions of the victim that led to the shooting.
Are you saying that if the victim had not run he would still be shot and killed? Really?
If you want to look at crime stats we can examine and see which is higher.
Black on Black crime
Black on White crime
White on Black crime
Any guess on how they will be ranked? Because if we go by statistics, the white guy is not your #1 person you look out for. You and I both know this.
Finally, when the police tell me to stop, I stop. I don't think well I am a white guy and I can run away and I won't get shot. The hell with that. Why risk my life by running unless I have nothing to live for. That is STUPID, and that is why I don't get shot at by the police.
Bottom line, don't run from the police regardless if you are in the right or wrong and you live.
