The most important thing is for you and Kathie to show a united front, no matter what. Your daughter is testing boundaries and trying to find the weak parent. As the parent of 3 good kids that followed the right path and 1 that made a left turn 3 years ago and still going down the wrong path, I can tell you be strong, pray harder than you have and don't take her actions personally. She may be acting out for attention due to Stephanie's illness or she is just being a "normal" teenager (whatever the heck that really is). Teenagers always find the weak parent and get the fighting going between mom and dad, that takes the real focus off the kid. Please know you are not alone and many of us have teenagers and can gain advice from each other. Keep fighting the good fight.
