I know this has nothing to do with the camaro, But it goes to show how good the power plants are from GM.

General Motors has announced that its Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 has navigated Germany’s famed Nürburgring in 7 minutes 26.4 seconds – besting the mighty Nissan GT-R by nearly three seconds (7:29). The Corvette ZR1 set the blistering mark earlier this morning, piloted by GM development engineer Jim Mero.
