And you can go WOT in a ZL1, Z/28 etc on the street...just like in a Hellcat. While the difference in acceleration is pronounced between the Hellcat and ZL1, so is the difference in handling. A ZL1 may only have 90% of the acceleration but the Hellcat has only 90% of the handling (rough estimates to illustrate the point). To say one is more usable is merely supposition.

I have numerous drag-strips nearby, none of which I frequent. It takes far more work to design, build and maintain a proper racetrack than a drag-strip which is why there are fewer of them. I'm not saying drag-strips aren't fun now and then but it gets boring quickly. Twelve seconds of rush followed by an hour of waiting to get another twelve second thrill. Conversely, most track sessions are ~20min of adrenaline. It's exhausting actually but you really test your mettle and learn just how capable you and your car are (or aren't) lol

agreed one the usability on street, enough of that topic lol.

My comment on the strip vs track was more of just throwing this out there as to why I rarely here about local people going to a track.

I know the costs are more to maintain a race track vs strip, which is also why track days are more expensive than going to strip. I can go do test n tune at GLD for 30 bucks and get as many runs as I want. Road course, 225 bucks at BFR in wisconsin. I can see why more people lean towards drag racing. Don't get me wrong I would love to get on a road course, just a tad on the pricey side. ( and I dont have the right car anymore haha)
