And you can go WOT in a ZL1, Z/28 etc on the street...just like in a Hellcat. While the difference in acceleration is pronounced between the Hellcat and ZL1, so is the difference in handling. A ZL1 may only have 90% of the acceleration but the Hellcat has only 90% of the handling (rough estimates to illustrate the point). To say one is more
usable is merely supposition.
I have numerous drag-strips nearby, none of which I frequent. It takes far more work to design, build and maintain a proper racetrack than a drag-strip which is why there are fewer of them. I'm not saying drag-strips aren't fun now and then but it gets boring quickly. Twelve seconds of rush followed by an hour of waiting to get another twelve second thrill. Conversely, most track sessions are ~20min of adrenaline. It's exhausting actually but you really test your mettle and learn just how capable you and your car are (or aren't) lol
