See that is stereotype of the north that is not entirely true. Yes we are loud and abrasive and that might not seem friendly to a Southern, but we are very friendly....we just tell it like it is. If we don't like you then you know because we come right out and say it, where in the south it is impolite to say something like that.
When I lived in SC I was treated as a outsider because I was a Yankee and I was called that several times. I found it very offensive.
When PMC and I both had Camaros we got, awwww they are have matching cars.
