So tired of Mother Natures teasing! Here in Ottawa, one day temps slightly up above freezing, next day another day slightly below freezing and just a few hours of snow flurries. Will this winter snow ever melt away. Last Feb. coldest Feb. ever recorded here in Ottawa. Not the cold that bothers me but the dirty snow and salt covered roads that works my nerves.

Cat issues and vet bills continue. Reported a few months ago big fat Arab cat Ramses had trouble with his rear legs and walking. $5,000 in tests and vet bills, (including a MRI and multiple X-rays) he loves meal time and still wobbles like a drunk when he walks. Patchet, the female Arab cat, seems to have developed kidney issues. She seems fine but slowing loosing weight. Ramses needs to loose weight, Patchet needs to gain weight. They are my babies so will spend what is necessary to keep them comfortable but frustrated I can not make them healthy.

On the upside, four of my 4th year degree level Interior Design students have been nominated to participate in a prestigious group of students recognized for their efforts in new research based applied design. Issue is students, over two semesters, must research past design solutions for interior environments, develop new solutions. Students, with my guidance, have developed new solutions for drug & alcohol dependence rehab facilities, facilities for people with PTSD and war injuries, improved way-finding at international airports, extended care facilities for older people. Must say I am very proud of my 4th year degree students I have advised over the last year. Students did the work, I only advised and gave direction. Guess most of you did not know the difference between interior design and interior decorating (LOL!).

That's my week. Feeling good today as I am finished with my scheduled classes in 3 weeks.

Camaro going in April 20th for its annual professional detailing, and hopefully will be able to pick up my 1966 Bird conv. that has wintered in a restoration shop.
