Due to the production costs and exchange rates, both GM and Ford are shutting down all their Australian production. But this is not news, this has been in the works for several years. The current SS will die when it's plant closes. As far as I know, GM hasn't announced anything about a replacement or which vehicles they will be importing to Australia.
