I just wanted to introduce myself. I have been lurking on here for a while, but I finally found the Camaro I wanted and purchased her. A 2014 Black and Pink SS, manual transmission. I am so excited to finally have found the right car for me, and already looking the way I had planned to make her look. No need to tint windows, add the body decals I wanted, or paint engine components. I still of course have lots of things planned, but its awesome to be happy with the work somebody else had already started. I was told she was a breast cancer awareness car for a charity, and they (downgraded
) to a car with better gas milage. It's everything I wanted in a car, and man I can not go anywhere with out a giant smile on my face now. I had a 3rd gen Camaro in the 2000's which I absolutely loved, and I probably would still have it if it hadn't been totaled out due to someone running a yield light. So here I find myself with this amazing car, and I'm trying to find any excuse I can to drive her. Peoples reactions are priceless. I haven't even had her two days and I am stopped by people everywhere! Asking questions, telling me how much they love the car, and general gawking everywhere I go. I got quite a bit of attention in the F350 7.3 L diesel I drove, mainly because of its insane bumper and the fact a chick was driving it, but no where near this. I see Camaro's all around town, but I guess its due to the fact its obnoxiously pink. At some point that may get tiring but for now I am enjoying it to the fullest. (Then again, no one buys a Camaro to be ignored. LOL.) Once I get comfortable and put some serious miles on her I plan to attend some SOLO events and get started there. Anyways I just wanted to say hello, and thank you to everyone who regularly posts on this forum. There is a wealth of knowledge here and a family atmosphere which I love. I just found a local 5th gen camaro club in the area, so if there are others here in Reno/Sparks/Carson/Tahoe etc that want the info PM me.
