[Scalded Dog]

Last night, one of my kiddos went to a taping of "American Idol" (she had a blast, got to meet/ greet judges/ host/ guest stars). She went with one of her friends from school.

Of course, she and her friend had to get dressed up nicely... gonna be on TV!

Before the girls headed off to the show, my wife wanted to take some pictures. They went out on the back deck, and my wife took a few pictures of the girls.

Before the girls left their pose positions, my wife reviewed the shots on the camera. It was then that she noticed that I had left the garden hose out, and it was blatantly, obnoxiously visible in the pictures. She uttered, "Dang it... stupid hose."

The girls went through a brief cycle of shock, disgust, wonder, and surprise... before figuring it all out.
