According to my factory service manual, there are 3 nuts accessed from the underside. This requires removal of the rear fenders, which in turn requires removal of the entire rear fascia.

It may be possible to just loosen the fenders enough across the top to allow space to get your hand in to reach the nuts, but you risk cracking the fender. It may also be possible to remove just the fuzzy inner fenders and gain access to the nuts using various socket extensions and flex joints as needed.

Certainly not a simple "pop-out, pop-in" project. Hope this helps!
