When GM started killing brands off I thought for sure GMC was toast, but than someone explained to me just like Fen said its almost pure profit for GM. Fen can correct me, but I believe its basically goes like this, like 80% or so of the development costs get absorbed by the Chevrolet versions leaving the GMC versions to basically be pure profit.
