In a nut shell, I was stopped for doing 62 in a 45, and that led to 'We are taking you in for a traffic warrant, step out of the car'. Then at literally the last second before they were gonna cuff and stuff me, dispatch said let me go because my car is so easy to find and I live a couple blocks from the prison, court house, and police that they figured I was easy enough to find if I didn't go in Monday to fix it.
Turns out, when I paid a ticket two years ago the town did not record it properly and so it was as if I never paid and never appeared. By some stroke of luck I found the receipt and went this morning and proved I had paid it, so they cleared the warrant.

Wowwwww. The one time I got pulled over was for 62 in a 45 back when I had my Jeep. He gave me a warning and hit me with a ticket for being out past curfew (lame) which is a misdemeanor. I got a lawyer and got out of it, luckily. All that for a date to go see MIB3....
