Yes, because it couldn't be that I have actually have some experience in the matter or that the things I and countless other state are wrong with GM product are actually accurate.
I know a slew of pro and semi pro drivers, and not one would consider outright speed the primary measure of how great a car is, I guarantee it. And yet, both GM and their fans continue to wonder why their company cannot sell ever faster versions of cars with terrible interiors and absolutely terrifying handling to enthusiasts?
Cars like the Vette and Camaro have a cool factor for sure, but they need to be better, and in some areas they need to be a
lot better. Part of the reason GM went bankrupt is that they just did not understand where they fell short compared to the competition, and I firmly believe some of that can be blamed on a fan/customer base which was willing to accept, in many cases, astounding cost cutting measures, shortcomings, etc so long as they got their 400hp V8, etc.
But please, do keep on thinking that the world is out to get GM and that the ZR1's sixth place finish in this comparo is strictly a result of bias.
