I purchased my 2011 Callaway Camaro in June of 2013. She was new when I bought her. For some reason the dealerhip had a hard time selling her and her sister Callaway Corvette they also had on the lot. I managed to work a deal so I got her for an even $40k out the door...tax and all. The deal with my wife was she would let me buy it...but...I told her there was "nothing I could possibly do to this car." LOL God love her for believing that. That began the start of Callie's evolution from a Callaway Camaro...to simply a badazz Camaro...
Callie the Tigershark's name came from the "fin" on the roof and, of course, the gills. My son saw the car for the first time and said "Daddy it looks like a really angry shark." Hard to refute that logic or his impression. Since then we have referred to her as "Callie." With the promise that one day it will belong to my son, we have worked on the car...washed and waxed her religiously and babied her like a child. Well...except for when we get her out on the road or track...
