just paid near $4k for a new transmission in my damn '98 taurus, got it back, and the damn thing wouldn't hardly start, Lol.
got the work done at the dealer (i know thats expensive but at least you get a better garuntee, depending)
it ran real good after we got the new transmission in..after we got it started, the first time. Come the morning, it would barely start to even move it out to the street to have it towed to the ford dealership.
so yeah.
next time I have anything major done to that taurus im gonna drive it around the block a few times before i take it home.
luckily the
Re-repair was warranty'd and we get fixed what they forgot.
it was probably some piece someone left out
I just hope to have it back & running soon, driving a lexus ES330 as my substitute right now, and gosh damn that thing is a S L U G
comfortable as hell but DEFINITELY a GIANT SLUG.

it's a great car, but i definitely like a more maneuverable car.
I'd still rather have the taurus back ..and I can't believe i said that =/
