the 3000 mile oil change is supposed to be 3000 miles or every 3 months (whichever happens first). with that low of mileage, I'd hope that they have changed it at least yearly. again, JMHO

Good points... Look for rust at the top of the dipstick, condensation is a killer. Synthetic doesn't break down over time like mineral base tho.
