Seems like a fair comparison, after all, it is the top performance model Corvette available right now. The GTR costs more because they don't have a lower priced model to support the development and keep the cost down on the high end models. Plus it just doesn't sell well. If GM only made the Z06 go ahead and add 30k to the price. IMO the Z06 fell short here, they really have multiple advantages over Nissan that they weren't able to capitalize on.
