I hate to burst your bubble but you have wasted your time, you should find a new dealer (larger the better) that actually has allocations and order it from them. If you search on these forums people will advise you the closest dependable dealer in your area that can actually get you a car. Some may even have cars on the way that match what you want. I actually used another forum for learning about this stuff but this one probably has threads on it too. Unfortunately all dealers aren't honest or open about it, which sucks.
Do some more googling to find a reputable CORVETTE dealer in your area and go talk to them.
