She woke me up about 2:30 am as the hives were worse and her lips had swollen and she was afraid the tongue and airway were next.
She called her Dr who told her she thought it was a reaction to the Lisinopryl she takes for her BP. She found this odd as she has been on this medication for many years with no effects. The Dr said this happens in a small amount of people and suggested we go to the ER just to be on the safe side. The ER doctor concurred and gave her some steroids and some more benedryl and after about 3 hours of observation sent us home.
Needless to say we were both tired yesterday but I am happy she is ok. She will see her regular doctor soon to get on a new BP med. We are supposed to get a storm tonight through tomorrow afternoon with 10-14 inches of snow expected. I will be in an off site training class all next week but it is online so if it's too bad out I could just do tomorrows session from home if I have to.

May need to keep an epi pen handy!

Happy Birthday! And I was secretly hoping they'd win too. Don't really have a favorite team, but I don't like Pete Carroll.

Then we went to his room to visit for a while. We looked at some of his magazines & he tried to talk but was not able to make much sense. He is sure having a hard time walking. Partly from poor depth perception, part confusion, part weakness.
Mike's parents seemed good today. Mikes Brother had to go to Florida to the Mayo Clinic to have hernia surgery because due to his heart & low blood pressure problems he cannot be put to sleep. He will have surgery tomorrow & fly home tomorrow evening.
My niece is really having a hard time following her fall in the bathroom. Her arm was pretty much shattered. They put in several plates but can't completely fix it. She will be partially disabled permanently & somewhat disfigured. They are trying to repair it enough that she can care for herself (hair, bathing, etc.). She will not be able to return to her job most likely; probably a year of rehab.
When it rains it pours. And, yes it is pouring rain here too. Enjoy the game.
