If by 9E you mean Endeavor/Pinnacle then yes, I'm with them. 9E is an IATA holdover from Pinnacle but we run both the 9E and XJ programs from old Mesaba. Not sure what they officially call it though since they merged both programs July of last year.
I'm based at DTW as a heavy check mechanic. Right now they're putting in some good incentives for guys with ATPs and 5K hours behind the stick. Faster track to mainline Delta too since they're dropping the 5K hour requirement due to pilot attrition. But if you've got the hours and the ATP they'll really want to talk to you.
I could refer you if you want; just keep your chin up when you get stuck flying CRJ200s for a while. They're like old 3800 Series III Buicks. They won't go down easily but always have their quirks and issues.
The 900s I feel are gonna age much less gracefully..
