But these guys just walked up and said "what did you pay for this" didn't like my answer and pressed me by asking again.
Personally I took it as someone feeling out whether or not I was a good target to rob.

I like that your gut instinct put you on alert. Those guys could have been just ignorant fools who didn't know any better but when the red flags go up it is never the time to let your love light shine.
