That's just it, it has been skinned. When I say cosmetic, I mean it would have been nice to keep the original lines of the G8's sheet metal and revise the front and rear fascia. I actually prefer the lines of the G8 much more than I do Chevy SS. I feel like they washed a lot of the aggressiveness out of the look of the car.
