Nah it is not a manual in my book. I abandoned Alfa after nearly 30 years involvement with the brand over this. To me a tap shift is like using a computer to compose music vs being able to play the instrument to create it. Driving should be like being able to play guitar vs some guitar hero stuff. Alfa has built some wonderful engines and transmissions over the years, this one has too much involvement from Fiat.
