What is this "work commute" you speak of? Some are retired, or have second, third, fourth cars to commute in, work from home, live within walking distance from work, etc. Not every performance car is a commuter.

This^ Lap times and other performance measurements are a testament to the engineering and design that compliment the driving experience even during the mundane day-to-day operations. It's why Porsche owners buy Porsche's over and over again that never see the top side of 80mph.

I suspect it's capable of 7 minutes flat based on Jim Mero's VIR time on grand west. Maybe slower on some of the long high speed straits though given the impact of its aero package at high speeds. I suspect it will be quicker through the turns than any car less than $500,000
