Here's the thing. I don't hate the Patriots. I think they are and have been a very good team over the years. I do, however, based on Spygate & Deflategate, liken them to a car race team that will try to do things that old NASCAR people did...find a way to reduce weight or modify the car that skirts the rules. Some people think that's ok, and are willing to risk the penalties to gain that advantage. That's what I believe the Patriots did here, and at some point they will need to pay the penalty. If this was a first offense, I'd expect the penalty to be something similar to what Spygate was (a big fine and a draft pick). Now...if it's proven, I would expect something like what happened to New Orleans (1 year suspension for Belichick).
Anyways, it's been really interesting to hear many of the local sports talk stations on my trip from Seattle to Arizona. I'm currently near Vegas. Pretty much no-one believes Brady.
