Some cars are timed based on a rolling start and some are from a dead stop/start. Some are run with roll cages and different tunes, tires, suspension set up, etc. etc. which are vastly different from the actual set up you buy from the dealers lot. For people who claim to be "car guys" don't seem to understand much about the "ring time."

To me, the real test for Track bragging rights is when Randy P. takes carX vs carY, on the same day and on the same track and he tells it like it is. For the Strip bragging rights, well, we get our a$$es kicked there so no point. LOL

Good point about not officiated...hadn't thought of that.
