Look, i'm by no means an expert on any racing or even any car for that matter....but I find it interesting that they don't want to enter the Debate when they are extremely happy about the results. And if for some reason they are taking a principled stance against using the ring for marketing...well I find that very interesting too.
Well the other cars on the list I mentioned were almost all done by a German magazine, and are European cars, mostly German ones... My guess is Ford isn't handing out cars to German magazines to do road tests and track it on German race tracks.

It really is only GM, Nissan and Porsche that like to advertise the ring times.

This too. Also I really don't get why people care so much about lap times from a track on the other side of the planet lol.
