Seriously though if the GT350R ran like a 7:40 to 7:45, they'd be all over it.
The only performance metric I can ever remember Ford publicly stating was that the 13 GT500 could hit 200MPH. Which hasn't happened yet, but one of the tests that tried said they felt the car could.

The only manufacturers I know of that like to tout their ring times are GM, Nissan and Porche. I know wikipedia isnt the most reliable source, but if you look at the fast lap list for production cars, those are almost all the manufacturer tests, GM, Porche, Nissan

Ferrari doesnt put lap times out, BMW doesn't, Mercedes doesn't, Ford doesn't. Some manufacturers just don't use Ring lap times for marketing
