As to ABS, it appears it was first designed for use in airplanes in 1929 by the French. Chrysler gets credit for the first computer controlled 4 wheel system in the 1971 Imperial with Ford and GM offering a rear only ABS system on some models around the same time.

Asis usual with complex systems, it is often designed in collaboration and then later with various manufacturers refining the systems over time, as appears to be the case with magnetic ride systems. I think GM deserves credit as the first to offer a magnetic ride system in a street going vehicle, regardless of who may have "invented" it.
